It started a year ago when I was asked by one of the most brilliant artists here in Ilocos, Ate Kit and Kuya Ace of Ava's Cakes and Party Shop, who were then going to San Francisco to make a cake for a grand wedding. They needed business cards to give away! I was so scared I might not meet their expectations, but since they approved and loved my design, I became confident and started doing cards for friends.
I have to thank the staff of Print Nook Laoag for being super attentive to my needs when it comes to colors and adjustments. How I envision my cards to look like is always the outcome. I've always been their "suki" for a long time because of the prompt and friendly service. Quality is superb! I can say these business cards can stand the test of time-- waterproof with the film coating, not easily bent, and something you'd love to hold onto because they are wallet candies.
Thinking of a design is a bit of a difficulty because you have to envision the owner's personality and the nature of his/her business or profession. Sigh! But challenges are always exciting.
